i thought i’d launch my LittleMissMatched blog by thanking all those zany sock wearers out there who have taken the time to email me their thoughts. I absolutely love reading what you have to say. Tomorrow I am going to post a sock monkey a customer sent me! Anyhow, this sockadelic customer wrote me today:

I love my socks, and when I wear them everyone smiles, whether they like them or they think I’m ridiculous. It’s nice to have people smiling around me all day…I’ve worn miss-matched socks before, but it’s so much more cool to have them be made the same and have the great color schemes you have worked out…Thanks for the fun, and I’ll be checking for the availability of more adult size socks.

Sooo, a couple things…

I have lots more socks coming out at the end July ‘05. They include tons of adult sizes, kid sizes, and todler sizes…and i am adding knee highs…i can’t wait

flipflops…in ‘06 i will be launching my LittleMissMatched flip flops and honestly i’m already in love. I have the prototypes and they are soooo cute.

didyaknow that CNN did a feature on me?…i am still awaiting an air date, so i will let you know when it hits.check this out though:

Britney Spears, Courtney Cox, Liv Tyler…oh my god! No comments yet

I took a trip to Hollywood on a mission was to raise money for kids with cancer and other terminal illnesses. On the road, I met many missmatched friends: Liv Tyler, Britney Spears Federline, Julianne Moore, Lindsay Lohan, Courteney Cox Arquette, Mischa Barton, Teri Hatcher, J.C. Chasez, Jamie-Lynn DiScala, Fran Drescher, Ivanka Trump, Mariska Hargitay, Robert Verdi, Annasophia Robb, Ana Gasteyer, Katie Couric, Soledad O’Brien, Suze Orman, Rebecca Gayheart, Ciara and more!

To help with my cause, I ask them to pick their favorite Kooky, Zany, Fabulous, Marvelous, sock combinations from my line and authograh them (httttp://www.littlemissmatched.com/store/celebrity_photo_gallery?Args). Then I auctioned off them on Ebay. All the proceeds went to The Ronald McDonald House Charities and can you believe it, I raised $5,000.
